There are so many different types of veils! They range from a flyaway, which lands right below your chin, all the way to a cathedral which can be up to 10 feet long! Choosing the right size veil depends on the style of the wedding dress and your own personal style preference. If you are unsure, your bridal consultant can always give you advice on what style of veil they think would look best. There are also many different ways your veil can be personalized. From embroidery, to lace, to pearls to beads, there are so many ways to make your wedding veil unique to your personal style.

The Pros

One of the main benefits of wearing a veil is that it adds to the mystique and beauty of the day. A veil creates a sense of romance and can make you feel as if you’re living in a fairytale. It also adds a layer of elegance to your look and can be an extra special element of your wedding day ensemble. Wearing a veil is typically ideal if you are having a traditional wedding day!

The Cons

Let’s talk about the cons! There are some potential drawbacks of wearing a veil. For one, it can be uncomfortable and can cause your hairstyle to become disheveled. It can also be difficult to put on and take off, which can be a hassle when you’re already busy with other wedding preparations.
